[focus on favorite "classics" that have shaped our tastes, from old autechre and
aphex twin to post-industrial darker electronics. material rearranged in
an attempt to make them sound "fresh", which (i think) was very successful.

started out with eerie ambience, slowly shaping up, transitioning to pole and
forma tadre, then gaining speed with arovane, peaking with mu-ziq, and slowing
down to more spacey atmospheric pieces (arovane and bola); venturing into
exotic places with passarani, and transitioning to soviet 80s disco by zodiac,
followed by softer almost 70s feel of boards of canada and d'arcangelo;
weirdness escalates when halo_gen is followed by xingu hill meets ambre, then the
pace slows down again into acoustic fleischmann, gimmik and playful tetlow
(picked for his historical ties with "grand names"); and then the music grows
progressively darker and edgier towards the end of the set.

"hear how to converse in german" by angela din (carlton record) has been used
throughout the set to introduce some spoken word weirdness]
