First part one of Hushush's "threesome" series, this cd provides an introspective peak into the minds of some of the most interesting experimental electronic musicians currently out there.

Taking off were Ambre's last release "Enclave" ended, we explore further into alien ship and find more info about the terror of the unknown. Immerse your mind into the frightening soundscapes of Olivier Moreau (imminent, ambre, torsion, axiome, urawa, delta files), John Sellekaers (xingu hill, torsion, snog, internal, urawa), C-Drik (axiome, crno klank), and Mark Spybey (best known for dvoa, zoviet france and download). Together these master technicians create and destroy monolithic atmospheres that intensify and disperse throughout fifty-six minutes of the disk.

Elements of each artist are strongly apparent, especially Spybey's, bringing in more subtle synthetic and organic elements to the menacing themes of the Ambre crew. Transitional soundscapes conglomerate and disintegrate throughout each track relying on intensity and harmonious simplicity. Imagine a slug moving slowly over a razor's edge or a pile leaves slowly catching fire.

Tracks 8, 9 & 13 will get you out of the hypnotic meanderings momentarily, bringing an interlude of strange reality to make sure you have not taken the trip too far. But surely your journey doesn't end until track fourteen hits 8 minutes 29 seconds. This release works solely in its entirety and must be experienced that way.

Soon enough you will obtain different insight to this nightmare as you continue listening. A very enlightening and fresh release from new promising label. Make sure you are not left out and subscribe to the whole "Threesome" series while you still can.
