bimbo oscillations

This is my favorite of the few Celluloïd Mata's releases I have. I found that “Bimbo Oscilations” covers the widest range of electronic genres. We explore noise, ambient, and experimental textures that entice you with their simplistic brilliance.

With tracks such as "come to me chicks", we enter advanced digital composing of analog electrified beats and an alluring phaseline that captures the mood of the entire track. "No bimbos or I'll die" gives us a feel of seventies dark disco ambience similar to some of Tangerine Dream's composing. “Strangely cool” would be the best interpretation of track three. Track four and nine explore a depressing soundscape of drowning strings and sound textures, very similar to ultra milkmaid's work. While track five, "www.zone51.com" and track 7, take you to funky space-like rhythms that utilize intensity buildup. Track eight gives us very abrasive rhythmic noise movements with tweaked-out frequencies. We close this release with very beat oriented pummeling pulsations and phases of "beach terror rules."
