"innocente" was my favorite song on "poem", so I was somewhat curious to see what two remixes have done to it. unfortunately both dj tiesto and deep dish mixes were merely ok, confined within the realms of traditional techno. maybe if it wasn't my favorite song on the album and if I hadn't heard exceptional trance of "heaven's earth", I would be less critical of this record.

dj tiesto remix flows nicely with quite a few changes and pleasant transitions that make it a "listening" track as well as (at times surprisingly intense) dance hit. it builds up speed and complexity towards the end and makes up for more traditional, stripped down beginning, although at this point there's not much of the original song left (except for occasional, and very fitting, vocal samples and deep graceful strings). deep dish remix is more straightforward hard techno that does possess a certain intensity, although it is quite primitive, with occasional touches of original strings and vocals.

I am sure that for those that feed on traditional house/techno top40 stuff, this would be an impressive fresh material, as for the ones that expected something similar to "heaven's earth" or "poem", you have to approach this short record carefully.
