it is always pleasant to hear an enjoyable release from the band that has been around for over two decades. after several years of silence since their last disk, the duo returns with this mcd where tribute is paid to the old compositions that have been transformed to become more danceable and beat-heavy.

"rain of blood 2" and "automatic love 2" create familiar sensual atmosphere, filled with dark erotic images. the contrast of gorgeous female vocals and distorted voice of philippe fichot is still irresistible - the old formula seems to be working perfectly. "anode current 2" and "radiomorphism" are quite unexpected with their blend of heavy dancefloor-oriented beats and plenty of distorted, dislocated noises. yet another version of "rain of blood" is presented by download; graceful "la jeune fille et la mort 2" remarkably transforms from slow string-filled track to heavily distorted mix of light symphonic electro and sparse percussion.

while not presenting anything radically new, this is a good addition to any die form collection pleasing fans of both "duality" and earlier material.
