at times I wonder at what point you cannot judge the album without considering its cover, the ideology behind it, the statement, the artwork, etc. if you take the music of larry kucharz just by itself, it barely deserves mentioning; it is nothing more than long unchanging monochromatic loops, a study in sound manipulation repeated during all 16 tracks on the cd. if the purpose of the cd was to create an atmosphere - it fails; there is nothing in it that keeps your attention. it fails to be a music work by itself, and those of you that would like to consider it in some other context are welcome to do so.
