this is new ep by melotron features three versions of "der blaue planet" from "mörderwerk" album and two non-album tracks: "auf der suche" and "neubrandenburg". "auf der suche" has simple catchy melody; it is very danceable and incredibly sweet. soon enough you will sing along (even if you do not know the language good enough - nothing will stop you). antiimperialistischerschutzmix of "der blaue planet" is really interesting with its "lighweight" beginning. the track steadily gains speed and density and becomes quite complex and rather harsh (!) version of "der blaue planet. i especially enjoyed the way the vocals got processed in this mix. "neubrandenburg" is an instrumental - rather interesting combination of sweet melody with chaotic random beats and occasional noises.

this ep is a nice teaser before the future album. personally i think that their previous ep before full-length release ("dein meister") is a lot more powerful and interesting. "der blaue planet" is still perfect for any synth-pop fan (or anyone that wants to listen to "der blaue planet" again and again, like i do).
