Well, of all the Panacea material I've heard or owned at one time ("Low profile Darkness", "Phoenix Metabolism", "Hanayo in Panacea", squaremeter…), this is definitely still my favorite album from the artist and probably the most innovative as well.
First of all, if you are into heavy power electronics or simply dark aggressive music, you must seek this out. Call this what you may, but I feel it is one of the best representations of the term "dark techno". Tracks such as "Menhater" take on dark driving percussion that punch the brain with attractive, edgy and dirging loops that pan around your head.
"Anti-funk" layers breakbeats, drum'n'bass, and driving rhythms into your skull with fast echoing technoid synthetics. Other tracks such as "Hedonist remix" and "Motion Sickness" pace on with more dense attacking rhythms that are crossed over by very strong vocoder effects that play up into channeling synth melodies, while songs such as "Unglory" bring you ultra-dark themes layered with trip-hop rhythms and a touch of drum'n'bass.
Track eleven, "Ektachrome", provides a precise building melody that intensifies with layering driving beats, sirens, and percussive bass punches. Intelligent, relentless, and simply kool.
