well, here we go, after I hunted down all pierrepoint albums, this cd is out that presents "best of" material going back to celtic circle days. the tracks on this cd would appeal to you even if you are not a hardcore pierrepoint fan - sounding just a bit dated at times, but still very refreshing and interesting.

unique noisy and abrasive ebm sound with nicely distorted vocals and interesting rhythmic patterns and melodic arrangements is something that sets the band apart from the rest. well-known tracks like "perfect society", "…sie sind nich grun", "judas", "idolized", "final scan", "space god killer" show why the band has always been regarded as an equal to suicide commando, retaining its own originality.

I am not sure why this band is not as well-known in the states as it should be. after all, with quite a few releases out, interesting sound that combines freshness of electro, stomping ebm, loads of interesting samples, interesting song structures, powerful vocals and a lot of rhythmic noisy textures, it should be where suicide commando is in terms of recognition and respect.

overall, this is a truly timeless release, where you forget about the when a particular song came out and just listen to the music that combines aggression, melody and force creating pure harsh electronic sound.
