This 12" contains four nice acidic tracks for the mind and soul of the Somatic Responses fans and newcomers.

Side a introduces us with powerful disjointed rhythms that collide with abstract frequency drips and loops; similar to that of Hypnoskull's work in many ways. On side b, "Tangled" brings in the sound I'm familiar with and what Somatics is known for. Beloved spasmodic beat structures that are foreshadowed in the relentless dark atmospheric analog strings.

"The Storm" engages the turbulent and overlapping complexity of percussive elements that evolve rapidly to higher state with the enveloping dark strings that emerge throughout the composition. This track holds intricate ground and proves to be one of my favorites from these masterful technicians. A nice release overall and one to add to your collection.
