this is the limited edition of quite famous cave compilation series. the packaging (as usual for "hands") is wonderful. i was surprised to find the music rather "user-friendly". the most abrasive track on the album is done by winterkalte, while others range from dark menacing instrumentals (blink twice, hybrids, ah cama-sotz) to minimalistic noisy tracks (orphx); twisted drum'n'bass (explotando o som and needle sharing), minimalistic sound manipulations by p.a.l and rhythm and noise by ravenloft, imm, and de fabrik.

the cd does a good job exposing the different sides of popular noise music. the bands are quite well-known and the genres covered give a good introduction to anyone new to the scene (and the chance to find something you might like). plus the nature of the cd makes it really diverse and intersting release. very recommended.
