After much preparation, correspondence, and mastering, new label Coma-Dose Creations releases their very first illustrious compilation. Compiled and produced by Raven F. of Calear, and mastered and partially engineered by Imperative Reaction's Daev Andrect with cover art by Myc Beckman (Calear) & J. Porter. This compilation features several versatile side-projects of Raven F and many new dark electro/industrial/synthpop artists rising into scene for 2000.
We engage this comp with a relentless rhythmic track by Beta titled "Possessed" that could prove nicely for the club floor. It uses intelligent synthetic elements and sample arrangements that move with pummeling atrocity.
The Clause, a side project of Calear & Imperative Reaction artists, introduces a driving electro track called "Circle of Pain" that utilizes vigorous beat complexity of Imperative Reaction and ravaging voxx and synthetics of Calear.
FAV w/Orgillon gives us a peak into the tenacious menageries of "Humain Logik." Jugend Staat reveals it's teeth with a new track "A God From A Machine" pushing a dirging and destructive structures laced with hostile cyber-organic voxx.
Point submerses your mind temporarily with impressive melodic arrangements on "?" and continues this luminous work throughout with two other tracks on the cd. New artist Nail-Bunny presents an erratic and somewhat funky synthetic experimental electro piece titled "Visionheads." Phear of Brutal Bastion hypnotizes the mind with alluring atmospheres of "Playing God." Later, Raven F. takes his stab at a combustible industrial Brutal Bastion track called "Forsaken", also taken from their debut album "The Wrath." Calear escapes us with a demented and heartless electro/industrial composition entitled "Shattered", preparing us for what's to come soon from these spasmodic technicians on CDC.
WestWerks, an Imperative Reaction side-project, softens things with two melodic synthpop tracks titled "To Tear A Lullabye" and "A Father's World." S.E.M.I, M. Orgillon's main project, destroys the psyche with a pulsating and very rhythmic composition that provides a theme to Blade Runner. Decoy Project, another Calear side-project, and also on CDC, provides a broken trip-hop enigmatic track called "Perpetual Embarrassment."
And Shawn Lower from Only Flesh closes this compilation with a savage synthetic and forbidding track titled "Slave Lottery." In conclusion, this compilation assembles some of the strongest new dark electro/industrial/experimental artists in the States. And as critical as I am about most compilations, this is one that I would extremely consider adding to your collection. Expand the mind. Check into CDC.
