This very rare compilation features eleven cold and transparent tracks from various gothic, dark ambient, darkwave, and experimental artists. Some compositions are certainly worth mentioning withstanding the test of time, while few get lost in the time they were created.

Jack or Dive touches us with depressive yet beautiful mourning wails that are surrounded with a small array of dismal arrangements of strings, bells, and very light tribal beats. Collection D'Arnell-Andrea presents gothic guitar rhythms similar to early Cure material, unoriginal, but nevertheless pleasant to the ear. Masters of the ritual, Hybryds, represent dark translucent ritual beats that gradually build as shallow wails and whispering wind instrument sounds emanate on "dolichenus." Kirlian Camera on "krematorium iv" gives us a very futuristic mechanical programming that is laced with robotic vocoders, soft strings, and other synthetic sound devices. Allerseelen scourges the listener with very haunting string steps, assaulting guitars, snappy rhythms, static undertones that are accompanied with severed harsh vocals. Ah cama-sotz gives us twisted hazardous rhythms, foreboding bass-lines, and transparent string progressions that are complimented by the regurgitated words of a soothsayer on the track "ghost of inexistence." While oral constitution presents us with eastern philosophical movements of old ones.

This is definitely one the better dark ritual compilations with a very impressive lineup carrying its message through the years.
