not made by industry II

pro-noize puts out the material that spans both ebm/electro and power electronic/rhythm'n'noise genres. this second volume of "not made by industry" compilation is not an exception - filled with quality tracks from some of the bigger names in the genre - noisex, pierrepoint, esplendor geometrico, axiome...

swartalf (licensed from dark vinyl) gives us the first track on this compilation. I'm not certain how you'd classify this work - experimental I guess. after listening to the track several times I decided I liked it. I also enjoyed the track by orphx which is kinda noisy pulsing techno, seems like it could be danceable, or maybe it's just trance-out music for the noise-addict.

mz412's track is incredibly harsh and dark staying in the cold meat tradition. but it is too repetitive for my taste and I've heard them do better work; still if you wish to pretend you're in a big factory…

I do believe the track "moving hands" by dirk ivens has been around for a while (this is a live version from 1992 bonn show), I'm not sure how it fits on this compilation, even some of the more recent dive material could have been a better choice.

the arzt+pfusch track "scumfuk" is already well-known from the famous septic compilation, why not pick a different track.

i think the track by converter is one of the more varied noise tracks I've heard, the guy shows a lot of potential, the upcoming release of his second disk ("blast furnace") should prove that.

feindflug has a track on this compilation with vocals! I was unsure these guys could speak; the track actually reminds me more of suicide commando than their other stuff. these guys are definitely the best act on black rain, and we've been convinced by them that they're not national socialists, so you can keep listening to them guilt-free.

this compilation is mostly noise with a little bit of electro thrown in, containing some variety, but I believe there are more interesting ones out there, ultimately this one's your decision.
