on this 10" vinyl record surrealism and coldness of black lung is combined with micro-manipulated soundstructures of xingu hill. both bands complement each other, and the result is a bizarre and unreal structured atmospheric sound.

"crimson skies & vapour trails" is filled with slow deep bass; the track gradually progresses to immerse into more and more bizarre beats mixed with compressed analog bleeps and pulses. whacked synth lines cascade on the background, percussion fades away and comes back in the form of a funky drum loop. the dark world envelopes the listener; soft abstract images mesmerize with their cold beauty.

"spiders web" seems to be more rhythmic with heavy broken beats backed by countless pulses, collapsing synthlines, cold abrasive sounds and spinning noises. random screeches, saturated bass and waves of cold atmospheric sounds create an intense ambience that explodes with bombarding percussion at the end.

this collaboration is a perfect soundtrack music. while it is hard to listen to xingu hill on the background, since it demands full listener's attention to the smallest details, this project resulted in the sound that is a great soundtrack music due to more monumental soundstructures build by thrussel, and at the same time meticulously constructed atmosphere of xingu hill is still present in the background, where it could be discovered by attentive listener.
