on this collaboration release I was pleased to find more influences of ultra milkmaids than celluloïd mata. both artists' contributions are quite apparent; celluloïd mata adds minimal structure to the mellow persistent waves of soft ambience constructed by ultra milkmaids.

best elements from both bands have been combined, and together they fill in the gaps in the original releases. if you thought that percussive arrangements by celluloïd mata would really benefit from some atmospheric elements, or if you expected more structure from ultra milkmaids, this record would be the one to listen to.

throughout all tracks minimal warm keys are accompanied by atmospheric sweeps and hisses, bleeps and atonal sounds - all the recognizable elements of ultra miklmaids. at the same time darker edge has been introduced into the mix, resulting in a peculiar atmosphere.

delicacy of ultra milkmaids sound is contrasted by heavier percussion on "actified" (by far my favorite on this record) and by darker atmospheric edge on "wendi" - both times a perfect combination. both "orion" and "roum" are heavily influenced by ultra milkmaids with minimal percussion on the background.

both french artists present this hybrid of smooth electronics and hypnotizing minimal passages, the sound that seems to assimilate the best from both musicians.
