i did not hesitate and picked up this cd immediately after a wonderful double-disk vol. 3 of this all-german electro compilation. as it turned out, i should have at least looked at the line-up before buying the disk. about 80% of both cds is gothic stuff, boring gothic stuff with guitars and cliche sounds. out of 32 tracks only several deserve to be called decent. the ones that deserve to be mentioned are melotron, second decay, point of view, drunkness.

this compilation might appeal to the hardcore goth fan, but for someone that lacks this addiction it will be a poor choice. what a disappointment after vol. 3 (pick that one up, instead of vol. 4). at least it's all german, and poor lyrics (if present) is not that obvious.
